Changes to the Residential Tenancy Act

REIWA President Joe White recently made comment about the proposal to allow modifications to rental premises without seeking approval from the Landlord. While there are things that a tenant can already do 'without permission', the conditions around the current proposal are still up in the air. Any changes still have to be introduced to Parliament and are likely to come into effect in the second half of 2024. Follow closely.
